New Caledonia Casinos

The French overseas territory of New Caledonia, with a population of only a quarter of a million and a remote location from the capital of the southwest Pacific, is international for the sports facilities it offers to its visitors. Still, there are two New Caledonia casinos in the capital city of Nouméa, so discerning gamblers should find plenty of opportunities to try their luck at slots or table games. Noumea, located south of the main island, Grande Terre, has almost 100,000 inhabitants. During the Second World War, it was the headquarters of the US Army in the Pacific, but today, due to the lack of good air connections, travelers are not familiar with it. Two of New Caledonia’s casinos are located there, namely the Casino Royal and the Grand Casino hawkplay.

The Grand Casino hawkplay, at Pointe Magnin, located in the Le Méridien hotel, is the first casino in the country. It offers customers 210 slot machines, and for those who have the confidence and money to gamble on the game table, 18 tables play American Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack and Poker.

That’s not the whole game though….
